Waterloo Regional Police are responding to a two-vehicle collision in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police responded to a collision in Waterloo.

On June 19, 2024, at approximately 12:25 p.m., emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision on Frobisher Drive.

The initial investigation revealed that the driver of a Toyota and the driver of a Chevrolet were both traveling on Frobisher Drive when the drivers collided. As a result of the collision, both vehicles were set on fire.

The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet reported no physical injuries.

The roads in the area were closed for several hours for the police investigation and have now reopened.

The driver of the Toyota was charged with Turn Not in Safety.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information or video footage is asked to call Waterloo Regional Police at 519-570-9777, extension 6399.
