Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh turned heads as they teamed up in coordinated all-black ensembles while heading out of the city after the glitzy pre-release event ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The couple was spotted at Mumbai airport early on Thursday morning as they rushed to catch their flight out of the city.

The pregnant actress opted for a black sleeveless dress, with a thigh-high slit that highlighted her baby bump. She completed the look with a black cardigan and traded her heels for comfortable sneakers. Ranveer, on the other hand, opted for a black T-shirt which he paired with cargo pants.

The doting father-to-be was seen protecting his pregnant wife Deepika as he held her hand to help her out of the car and kept their fingers intertwined as they walked to the security checkpoint.

The paparazzi were also seen warning each other to keep their distance from the pregnant actress. “Aaram se, sambhal” they were heard saying to each other as Deepika and Ranveer walked towards the gate.

Videos and photos of the couple at the airport quickly went viral on social media.

Their exit comes close on the heels of the much-awaited pre-release event for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, directed by Nag Ashwin. At the event, held in Mumbai, Deepika along with co-stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan discussed their roles and experiences from the set. Deepika’s radiant presence and support from her co-stars, especially the heartwarming moment with Amitabh and Prabhas, have been widely praised.
