Hancock County continues storm damage repairs – Mix 107.3 KIOW

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors met with officials to discuss recent damage to personal and business property in Duncan after severe storms hit nearly a month ago. Receiving financial assistance is limited according to Andy Buffington, coordinator of Winnebago and Hancock County Emergency Management.

According to Buffington, the damage in Duncan was particularly extensive.

Hancock County Secondary Roads Engineer Jeremy Purvis stated that his department has tallied the costs of the storm damage to date.

He admits that the repair of the damage is slow, but that the work will be done.
