Summer Special Trains: To meet the convenience of the passengers and their travel demand, Central Railway has decided to run 6 Summer Special Trains at special fares. These trains run from Mumbai to Banaras and Panvel to Chhapra.

Summer special trains: People are constantly planning to go somewhere to get relief from the scorching heat and enjoy the summer vacation. In such a situation, a huge crowd of passengers is seen in the trains. But the railways have also completed preparations for this. Central Railway said special trains are being run for the convenience of passengers and to reduce additional crowds on the trains.

Central Railway said in a press release, “As per the demands of passengers, the railways has decided to operate special train services between Mumbai-Varanasi and Panvel-Chhapra to accommodate the additional influx of passengers.”

CSMT-Varanasi Special – 2 services

01057 Special train will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 5:50 AM and reach Varanasi at 12:30 PM the next day.

01058 Special train will depart from Varanasi on Saturday 22.06.2024 at 3:30 PM and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai on the third day at 12:25 AM.

At which stations does the train stop?

This train stops at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur, Lucknow and Sultanpur along the way. Includes 2 AC -III Tier, 13 Sleeper Class, 07 General Second Class including 2 Guard Brake Van (22 coaches)

Panvel-Chhapra Special – 4 services

05198 Special will depart from Panvel on Sunday 23.06.2024 and 30.06.2024 at 9.40 PM and reach Chhapra on the third day at 9.45 AM.

05197 Special will depart from Chhapra on Saturday 22.06.2024 and 29.06.2024 at 1.15 pm and reach Panvel the next day at 8.30 pm.

Central Railway has informed that booking for special train number 01057 at special cost will commence immediately and booking for special train number 05198 at special cost will commence on June 20, 2024 at all automated reservation centers and website www.irctc.co.in .
