Woman arrested after man died following stabbing

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 61-year-old man died following a stabbing.

Hertfordshire Police were called at 11:53pm BST on Wednesday to reports of a serious assault in Walden End, Stevenage.

The man was taken to hospital and later died.

Police said they had arrested a 34-year-old woman, who was known to the victim, on suspicion of murder and that she remained in police custody.
