High bacteria levels are temporarily closing the Webber Natural Pool, Southeast Beach on Lake Harriet

High bacteria levels have temporarily closed the Webber Natural Swimming Pool and Lake Harriet’s Southeast Beach in Minneapolis.

Officials said some filtration time may be needed before levels in the Webber Pool return to normal.

Members of the Parks and Recreation Board say they will test samples from both locations on Thursday to see if they can reopen safely.
