The hugely popular show is inspired by the lives of the students studying in Kota and brings out some of the harsh realities of life in the city. With the new season, the story becomes more realistic and dramatic, making the wait worth it.

Pratish Mehta has taken over from Raghav Subbu to sit in the director’s chair for the first time Kota factory. The team has returned with the new season almost three years after season 2, but you won’t notice any difference in the way the show is shot. Mehta manages to maintain the same rhythm, even though several extra layers have been added to the story. With season 3, the story becomes more realistic and the situations the students get stuck in become more theatrical, making the show worth watching.

Mehta has worked on TVF shows like Half CA And SK Sir Ki class, so he understands the importance of building a scene. For this drama web series, he has made sure that the audience is always on a pedestal and has to guess what will happen next. The show is shot in such a way that you will laugh one minute and cry the next. Another good thing about the show is the fact that the story is so compelling that you won’t realize you’ve finished a 40 minute episode without losing your attention even once, also keeping in mind that the show was shot entirely in black and white.

What also works for the show are the hard-hitting dialogues. Puneet Batra, Raghav Subbu, Manish Chandwani, Pravin Yadav, Nikita Lalwani and Arunabh Kumar, who worked on the script of the show, have successfully managed to bring out the thoughts of a Kota student through their simple yet effective to write. Vaibhav’s monologue, Jeetu Bhaiya’s life lessons and Pooja Didi’s points of view: these are some of the most important and impactful scenes in the show. They have managed to beautifully show what the life of a student at Kota is like, with high and low moments that you can completely identify with.

The highlight of the review of Kota Factory season 3 is also the cast. While Jeetu Bhaiya (Jitendra Kumar) carries the show, Mayur More as Vaibhav Pandey, Ranjan Raj as Balmukund Meena, Alam Khan as Uday Gupta, Ahsaas Channa as Shivangi Ranawat, Revathi Pillai as Vartika Ratawal and Urvi Singh as Meenal Parekh bring it to a new level of freshness in the story. Harish Peddinti as Bablu, Rajesh Kumar as Gagan Rastogi and Tillotama Shome as Pooja Didi tie up the loose ends perfectly. It’s also alive to see Jitendra in a different avatar right after Panchayat Season 3.
