Cara Orlando is Advantage Federal Credit Union’s Spring Athlete

With more than 26,000 votes, Cara Orlando is Advantage Federal Credit Union’s Girls Sports Athlete of the Spring.

We honored all of the season’s Athlete of the Week winners by having them compete in one final poll to become Advantage Federal Credit Union’s Girls Sports Athlete of the Spring Season.

Voters chose Orlando, who cruised to victory for Athlete of the Week on June 5. Pittsford Sutherland’s eighth-grade softball star hit a walk-off to win the Class A region final 2-1 in eight innings against Iroquois. Orlando’s hit was a three-run homer that was officially recorded as an RBI single.

This is the final poll for the 2023-2024 seasons. During the upcoming fall season, polls will launch on Mondays at democratandchronicle.com.

Your vote determines who will be honored as Section V’s best.
