Streaming TV Ratings for May 20-26, 2024

Season three of Bridgerton dominated the streaming charts for the second week in a row, holding the majority of its premiere week audience and racking up more than 2 billion viewing minutes.

A few science fiction films, Jennifer Lopez’s Atlas And Dune: part twoalso had some pretty strong performances the week of May 20-26, and Max’s Hacking and Hulu’s Under the bridge rose in the rankings as they neared the end of their seasons.

Bridgerton had 2.19 billion viewing minutes this week, down just 21 percent from the 2.76 billion in the previous seven days. The period drama had nearly double the watch time of the second-place show, Grey’s anatomy (1.1 billion) – what, like Bridgerton, comes from mega-producer Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland. Children’s favorite Bluish (1.07 billion minutes) has exceeded the billion-minute threshold for the twentieth time in 21 measured weeks so far this year.

Atlaswhich premiered on Netflix on May 24, had 795 million viewing minutes, topped the movie rankings and finished fifth among all titles. Dune: part two (711 million minutes on Max) wasn’t far behind, although it made its streaming debut three days earlier on May 21.

Netflix’s comedy Tyresstarring Shane Gillis, had 330 million viewing minutes in its first week (the premiere on May 23). Hacking (233 million on Max) and Under the bridge (220 million on Hulu) broke into the top 10 originals with their penultimate episodes of the season.

Nielsen’s streaming ratings reflect viewing on TV sets only and do not include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure the American audience, not those in other countries. The best streaming titles for May 20-26, 2024 are below.
