CM Yogi Adityanath to officials: Connect at least one person from a family to job placement | Lucknow News

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed the officials concerned to ensure that at least one member of every family in the state is connected with employment services.

At a meeting with senior officials to review the status of the ‘One Family-One Identity’ programme, he asked them to follow the guidelines.

A government spokesperson said nearly 15.07 crore people from 3.6 crore families living in Uttar Pradesh are benefiting from the National Food Security Scheme. The ration card number of these families serves as their family ID, he said, adding that more than 1 lakh families without ration cards have also been issued these IDs.

Under the ‘One Family-One Identity’ programme, each family will be given a unique ID, which will help create a comprehensive live database of family units in the state. This database will help in better management of beneficiary targeted schemes, timely targeting, transparent operations and ensuring 100 percent delivery of schemes to the eligible people by simplifying access.

The CM indicated that 76 schemes/services of the central and state governments have been linked to the Family ID. All other beneficiary-oriented schemes should also be linked to the Family ID, he said. The database of all schemes being implemented with the cooperation of the central government should be obtained and linked with the family welfare booklet and family ID, the CM added.

Festive offer

Adityanath said Aadhaar application and Aadhaar authentication should be made mandatory in online application of all beneficiary-oriented schemes/services. This will help increase family ID coverage.

The officers were also asked to ensure Aadhaar authentication during fresh admissions in ITIs, colleges and other higher educational institutions and link it with the family ID.

He further directed that there should be no unnecessary delays in issuing caste and income certificates.

A booklet should be prepared for each family, giving full details of the benefits they receive from government schemes. Before issuing the passbook and family ID, all information about the family must be properly certified. All relevant departments must work together in this regard, the Prime Minister said.
