Capcom releases new hi-res screenshots of M. Bison's legendary classic costume in Street Fighter 6

It won’t be long before we see the official release of Street Fighter 6’s next DLC character. The game’s Season 2 content kicks off in full with the release of classic Street Fighter boss character M. Bison, and we are only about a week away from that glorious day.

In anticipation and preparation for the upcoming DLC fighter, Capcom continues to release information and resources from the former dictator to help fans until its actual launch. Today, the company released some new screenshots showing off his Outfit 2 in Street Fighter 6, returning the villain to his legendary and iconic classic look.

“YES! YES!” the official Street Fighter Twitter page began. “Obtain M. Bison’s Outfit 2, inspired by his classic performances, in World Tour or with Fighter Coins.”

Like all previous characters in Street Fighter 6, M. Bison’s Outfit 2 will be both purchasable and unlockable. If you don’t want to spend Fighter Coins to quickly get the alternate outfit, you also have the option to play World Tour Mode – Street Fighter 6’s large-scale single-player mode – to find Bison, study under him and earn his friendship , which will lead to unlocking the costume.

In Street Fighter 6, M. Bison has a stock look as he moves a torn hood back and forth over his shirtless torso. Since he retains the same body as in Street Fighter 5, even though he now suffers from amnesia, Bison also still wears his red pants and buckled boots with this costume.

Outfit 2, however, goes all the way back to basics and gives M. Bison his signature red dictator suit, complete with hat, shoulder pads, shin guards and a clean-cut haircut. This costume lacks the cape seen on later designs and seems to be trying to recreate his original Street Fighter 2 look as closely as possible – and it succeeds.

This classic outfit looks great in Street Fighter 6, and since his default is a much more subtle costume with darker colors, the red from Outfit 2 definitely stands out and stands out here. Of course, both costumes (as well as his final Outfit 3) each have their own set of alternate colors and palettes to choose from.

Capcom recently hit the internet with the Street Fighter 6 M. Bison character guide, which walks viewers through all of his special moves, supers, and basic strategies for his various tools. Be sure to check it out if you’re craving more Bison before he’s released.
