Pune City Youth Congress demands re-conduct of NEET-UG exam

Expressing his disappointment, Pune City Youth Congress president Saurabh Amarale said, “The government’s stand on the repeated paper leaks is shameful. This is not just our request; it is being reiterated by students and parents across the country. We stand united with the students in this challenging time.”

Expressing his concerns, Pune City Youth Congress General Secretary Ajay Chikara said, “The government should stop messing with the future of students and prevent India’s promising future from being thrown into uncertainty. The dedicated students are facing numerous challenges in their preparations. Will the government prioritize the welfare of students while taking decisions?”

“As NEET Scam is the latest and biggest scam series which is an effective and most disturbing news affecting the lives of millions of students. We raise our voices against the government to stop the exposure of scams in every exam from Talathi recruitment to UPSC.

This shows that the government is not serious and NEET exam should be conducted again. Youth Congress will escalate the protest in the entire state,” said Youth Congress leader Akshay Jain.

The NEET-UG exam scheduled for May 5, 2024, has been mired in controversy with allegations of cheating and impersonation.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which administered the exam, also came under heavy criticism, leading to protests and legal action.
