Students go to Cambodia for ASEAN program

Six students, accompanied by teachers and staff from the Ministry of Education’s CentrE for the Development of Gifted and Talented Education (EDGE), left for Cambodia yesterday for the 10th ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APT JSO-10) programme.

The delegation consists of students from Jerudong International School and International School Brunei (ISB).

The students will create a three-minute video on the theme of ‘Racing Up Against Climate Change’ and participate in various activities including lectures, lab experiments, presentations and cultural exchanges. The event, which will take place from 22 to 26 July, is organised by the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) in Cambodia, in collaboration with the ASEAN+3 Centre for the Gifted in Science (ACGS) and supported by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Head of EDGE Dr. Mona Aliana binti Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Alimin was present to wave goodbye to the delegation at the airport. –Lina Mohamad
