According to Met Eireann, there will be light spells in the east on Sunday morning, but it will soon become mostly cloudy. A dry start for many, but outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the west will gradually spread across the country during the morning and afternoon.

Rain will become more persistent in the west and northwest towards evening. Highest temperatures 15 to 19 degrees with a light to moderate south wind, sometimes fresh in the southwest.

Sunday night cloudy with showers and drizzle, most persistent in the west and north. Mild and humid with temperatures not falling below 13 to 15 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Monday will be a cloudy and humid day for many with rain showers and drizzle. The rain will slowly move away to the southeast later in the day. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees with light to moderate northwesterly winds.
