Can Morgan Wallen sell out a third show at Neyland Stadium?

Country superstar Morgan Wallen is on track to sell out two surprise concerts at Neyland Stadium. Could he possibly do a third?

Wallen originally had no plans to make a hometown stop during the 2024 leg of his popular One Night at a Time tour. But a College World Series championship win for Tennessee baseball changed all that. And in a matter of three days, he had two shows scheduled at Neyland Stadium, marking the first concerts at the venue since 2019.

Wallen is set to perform at Neyland on September 20 and 22. Less than two hours after tickets went on sale for the first show on July 17, a second date was added “due to overwhelming demand.”

If tickets continue to sell out quickly, the Billboard chart-topper and Gibbs High School graduate may have to add a third to fit into his busy schedule.

Can Morgan Wallen pull off a third show in Knoxville?

Before he comes to Knoxville to take over Neyland, Wallen will wrap up his first ever European tour. The last European show is on September 8th in Dublin, Ireland and he has about two weeks before his next concert, the September 20th show in Knoxville.

Wallen will then have a day off to enjoy his time in his hometown before headlining Neyland again on September 22. The One Night at Time tour will resume on its July 18 schedule in Tampa on October 4.

While touring artists and crews need rest, it’s possible Wallen could squeeze a third Neyland concert into the tour schedule if demand remains “overwhelming.”

What are the possible dates for a third Morgan Wallen show in Knoxville?

The only other event scheduled in Neyland in September is the football game between the University of Tennessee and Kent State University on September 14.

Based on an analysis of Wallen’s tour schedule and Neyland’s schedule, here are the possible dates Wallen could play a third Knoxville show in September:

  • September 9-13
  • September 15-19
  • 21st of September
  • Sept 23-Oct 3

Where can you buy Morgan Wallen tickets?

Tickets for the September 20 and September 22 shows are available through Ticketmaster.

On the afternoon of July 18, the webpage for both shows at Neyland still showed “Tickets are now on sale,” with a clickable button to “get in line” for tickets. The wait was not long for either date when Knox News checked to see if tickets were available. Tickets for a blocked stage view started around $84.

Fans can purchase VIP packages for the show, which can include premium tickets, a backstage tour, a group photo on stage, an invitation to the Morgan Wallen VIP Lounge, an exclusive VIP gift and more.

Neyland Stadium has a seating capacity of 101,915, nearly five times that of Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center, a much more frequent concert venue. More than 150,000 fans are expected to attend Wallen’s shows on both nights, according to a press release from Essential Broadcast Media.
