The young Briton will be hoping to use his qualifying advantage to secure his second career victory after his emotional first victory in Miami earlier this year.

Further down the grid, Carlos Sainz will start fourth in the Ferrari, followed by Lewis Hamilton, who has a record eight wins at the Hungaroring, who will start directly behind in fifth place.

Today’s race promises to be a thrilling battle, with McLaren firmly in the hunt for their first victory at the circuit in over a decade.
