Nigerian singer and music producer John Saviours Udomboso aka Young Jonn has spoken about how he met and worked with YBNL boss Olamide.

Speaking during an interview with UK-based Nigerian Afrobeats journalist Adesope Shopsydoo, the Big Things singer shared how he produced Olamide’s album at a young age.

According to Young Jonn, he met Olamide in the studio where he recorded his songs and worked with Pheelz The Producer at the time.

The young Jonn added that he was only 16 when he worked with Olamide and produced songs for him. He then explained how it happened. In his own words:

“He was working with Pheelz, I would come to the studio, hang out with him, until one day we just clicked and I played him something. He went home, called me to come over and I played him something else. That was when we recorded Story for The Gods.”

In a post that went viral a few days ago, Young Jonn was seen relaxing at a pool lounge in the company of his much-talked-about girlfriend and Adenike Adeleke, the niece of Afrobeats star Davido.

The clip didn’t make much of an impression compared to their other videos, as they both went all out with the vibe of one of his singles, “Showcase”.
