Netflix Reality Series Gives Viewers More Than They Expect

Pawn Stars

If you’ve never watched 30 episodes in a row, Pawn StarsSeason 14 is all you need to get familiar with the premise, as it hasn’t changed in 21 seasons (675 episodes).

Pawn Stars is a reality show set on the Las Vegas Strip, primarily in the world-famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. Inside the shop, you’re quickly introduced to the family business, co-owned by Richard “Rick” Harrison and his father, Richard Benjamin “The Old Man” Harrison. Corey Harrison, Rick’s son, brings a third generation into the mix, learning the family business and trying to make a name for himself as an artifact expert in his own right.

Of course we couldn’t Pawn Stars without also mentioning Austin “Chumlee” Russell, Corey’s childhood friend who somehow becomes the star of the series, even though he’s often the butt of jokes for being incredibly lazy and less knowledgeable than the Harrison family.
