These programs include evening classes in preparation for High School Equivalency (HSE), evening English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and daytime and evening citizenship classes.

The Adult Basic Skills Program is funded by state and federal grants through the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development and is offered as a community service by the East Brunswick Board of Education.

Registration for the 2025-2025 program is now open.

However, registration does not confirm placement in the program. All registrations are completed online. There is no in-person registration.

Classes are taught physically, but some virtual class days are also possible.

All classes are free, but good attendance is required to remain in the program. All students must have their own device to participate in the online portion of the program. These devices can be a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Classes start on September 16 and last through May.

This program is open to residents of East Brunswick and surrounding towns.
