Today in Texas Standard: Wind turbine blade recycling could become a reality

As wind energy becomes a larger part of the Texas power grid, the question of what to do with old turbine blades becomes more pressing. These blades typically last about 20 years and pile up in “turbine graveyards,” with no options for reuse. But a research team at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Colorado may have developed a recyclable knife.
